Water and Wastewater Certification Training Courses Online

The Alabama Department of Environmental Management-Operator Certificate Program requires that Wastewater Operators obtain 24 CEUs every three years, by the initial licensure date. The following topics are accepted for credit:

• Up to 4 hrs maximum per renewal period of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training (CPR)
• Up to 8 hrs maximum per renewal period of trenching and shoring training
• Up to four hours maximum per renewal period of confined space entry training
• Up to eight hours maximum per renewal period of laboratory safety training
• Up to four hours maximum per renewal period of legal liability training specifically geared toward water or wastewater operators
• Up to four hours maximum per renewal period of stormwater pollution prevention training
