Colorado State Requirements
Training courses approved for supplemental instruction may satisfy up to fifty percent (50%) of the required training unit.
Class A (includes Water Treatment, Domestic Wastewater Treatment and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facilities Operators) must complete 3 training units every three years by anniversary of their initial certification.
Class B (includes Water Treatment, Domestic Wastewater Treatment and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facilities Operators) must complete 2.4 training units every three years by anniversary of their initial certification.
Class C (includes Water Treatment, Domestic Wastewater Treatment and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facilities Operators) must complete 1.8 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification.
Class D (includes Water Treatment, Domestic Wastewater Treatment and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facilities Operators) must complete 1.2 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification.
Class 4 (includes water distribution and wastewater collection system operators) must complete 3 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification
Class 3 (includes water distribution and wastewater collection system operators) must complete 2.4 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification.
Class 2 (includes water distribution and wastewater collection system operators) must complete 1.8 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification.
Class 1 (includes water distribution and wastewater collection system operators) must complete 1.2 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification.
Small water system and small wastewater system operators must complete 1.8 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification.Transient non - community system operators must complete 1.2 training units every three years by the anniversary of their initial certification.
