Kentucky State Requirements

  • All certified wastewater treatment and collection operators are required to renew their certificate(s) every odd-numbered year, by June 30th.
  • All certified water treatment and water distribution operators are required to renew their certificate(s) every even-numbered year, by June 30th.
  • Class I & II certificate holders must complete 12 hours of continuing education.
  • Class III & IV certificate holders must complete 24 hours of continuing education.
